What’s the What Car? survey all about?
Well, as experts in all things motor, from selling cars to reviewing cars, What Car? also assess breakdown providers. They do all the shopping around for you, to provide a clear comparison of all breakdown providers across multiple categories, including promptness, fixes and price, to answer the question “Which is the best breakdown service of 2025?”.
What Car? asked 29,967 drivers about their own experiences of breakdown cover and rescue over the last couple of years, as part of the annual Reliability Survey by What Car? in association with MotorEasy.
What were the results of the survey?
As well as being named ‘best breakdown service’ of 2025, Britannia Rescue was also recognised as “the best company at reaching stranded customers in less than 30 minutes”, scoring 22.9% – the highest of all the providers in the entire survey.
