Britannia Rescue agrees sponsorship of Huddersfield's Galpharm Stadium

Britannia Rescue today announced that it has agreed a sponsorship deal with the Galpharm Stadium, home of both Huddersfield Town FC and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club. The deal will run for the next five years. 

The focal point of the 51 acre site is the 24,500 seater stadium. Other facilities include a business and conference centre, health and leisure area, a 30 bay golf driving range, a nine screen cinema, plus bar and restaurant facilities.

The 'Antich Stand' stand will be rebranded the 'Britannia Rescue Stand' and the sponsorship deal includes branding for Britannia Rescue across various internal areas of the stadium for all sporting events.

Other key benefits of the deal include:

  • Big screen advertising featuring Britannia Rescue for all Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants league matches.
  • Ticket branding on the rear of each of the 500,000 stadium tickets issued every year, and on any tickets for concerts or other major events held at stadium.
  • A strong, branded presence on the stadium website with a direct link to the Britannia Rescue site.

Britannia Rescue is the fourth largest breakdown provider in the UK and is part of the LV= group of companies. The company operates a network of over 300 independent rescue agents across the UK and its average response time to callouts is just 40 minutes.
