UK & European Assist

Breakdown cover at home, in the UK and Europe

With our UK & European Assist breakdown cover, we'll come out to fix your car if it won't start at your home (for example because of a flat battery or a damp engine) as well as if it breaks down while you're driving in the UK or Europe.

European recovery

If you break down in Europe, we'll do whatever we can to fix your car.  If your car breaks down before, during or after you travel we can:

• pay towards the cost of a hire car or overnight accommodation
• bring your car back to the UK
• have someone collect your car from Europe when it is repaired

UK recovery

If we can't fix your car where it breaks down, we'll tow it to a garage. If it still can't be fixed, we'll take it, along with you and up to seven passengers anywhere you want in the UK.

We can get you a hire car, arrange other transport or pay towards overnight accommodation if your car can't be fixed within 24 hours.

If you need to collect your car afterwards, we'll cover the cost of your rail ticket, just show us proof of purchase and we'll refund you.

Relief driver

If you can't carry on with your journey because you fall ill or get injured and you're the only one who can drive the car, we'll get you, your car and up to seven passengers to your destination (terms and conditions apply).
